In person or Online-this time will be spent building your relationship. Couples can choose between 60, 75 & 90 minute sessions after intake session.

Couples Intensives

 

In person or Online- intensives are designed for couples who could benefit from therapy but can’t commit to weekly appointments. It is a one 3-4 hour appointment once or twice a month. Intensives are very limited in times available. Contact me today if you are interested.

Pre-Marital Counseling

 

In person or Online- these sessions are designed for couples who are not yet married. Prepare & Enrich workbook included. Typically 6-8 sessions in length.

 General FAQs

 

  • I schedule all weekly & biweekly clients on a block schedule. This means that we will have a standing appointment on the same day/time each week/biweek. If you fall outside of this you will self schedule using this link

  • For Individuals sessions are 50 or 75 minutes whichever you select.

    For Couples sessions are 75 or 90 minutes whichever you select.

  • When working with 2 people within the room in order to allow ample time for both partners to feel engaged, validated and heard during our sessions I recommend at minimum of 75 minute sessions for all couples. Often these longer sessions allow more progress in a shorter amount of time versus shorter 50 minute sessions.

  • No. I do not work with insurance in any way. I am a private pay provider and am not considered in network with any insurance provider.

    I do however accept Lyra EAP.

  • There is no hard rule about how long I see couples or individuals. On average I would say I work with most couples about 6 months however I have worked with many shorter and many longer. This is determined by your presenting issues and how quickly we can achieve goals set.

  • Once we have had a consultation call I will send you a link to my intake packet.

 Online Counseling FAQs

 

  • Telehealth/online counseling is “live” video sessions between you and me using Google Meet (similar to zoom). We meet online from wherever you are to make it more convenient for you to attend sessions

  • A private space and access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet, a camera and a microphone.

  • Before your scheduled appointment you will get an email with a direct link to our Google Meet appointment. Click the link in the provided email and wait for your session to begin! It is that easy.

  • For most people no. The vast majority of my clients say they get the same results online as they would/do in person. Some clients like to do a combo of online and in person depending on their schedules. These clients see no difference in their progress.
